Dynamics 365 Could not find maintenance job type default for an asset, maintenance job type Preventive, maintenance job type variant Monthly and trade.

    Hi,
     

    This error means D365 cannot find a valid default maintenance job setup for that combination.

    Fix:
    Go to Asset management → Setup → Maintenance job types / variants / trades

    Check:


    • Preventive job type is linked to the asset

    • Monthly variant is assigned to that job type

    •  Trade is correctly mapped

    •  A default job type is set for the asset or maintenance plan
