How can I find a shipment number if I have an invoice number?

Hi,

I'm a NAV user. I have an invoice number, I need to find out what is the shipment related to it? I also need the opposite wherein I have a shipment number and I need to find the invoice related to it.

You have Order No on Invoice, you can search with it.

1. Go to Posted Sales Shipments

2. Type in the Shipment Number

3. Display

4. On the Lines --> Click on the Lines dropdown --> There is Item Invoice Lines

Hi,

If you have a sales invoice then you can find the related sales shipment by Order No. field. Open your sales invoice and copy the Order No., new go to sales shipments and apply filter on Order No. field. Enter the copied order number, you will be able to see the related sales shipment document.
The other way is:

Open the Posted Sales Invoice

From the lines select Line

Now select Item Shipment Lines

Now Click on Navigate

Select Show Document.

Now you can able to see the related sales shipment document.

You can do the same steps if you have sales shipment document and you want to see the sales invoice.
