Yes this is strange situation. I am wondering.

The same option was kept and saved in the integration. Actually that was the reason I didn't went for this batch creation option earlier.
I don't know why it is not creating a batch from the IM even when this option was selected.
I just as a workaround created the batch manually and it went through.
Very strange!!!!!!!!
Please note on the below settings in your Integration Manager. This will help you to integrate the transactions without creating batch in GP.
1. In integration manager, open the destination mapping for your PM transaction.
2. From the option section change the setting to Add new batch for missing batch.

I got it guys...I just created the batch in GP prior to the upload and it went through.Anyways thanks to all of your time and valuable suggestions
I think your not seeing my above suggestion. Please have a look on below.
If you using Integration Manager to import the transaction into GP, it will open appropriate integration window ( for your case PM transaction window) and import the transaction with using Macro. This process are running silently(automatically closed the GP and run the integration silently).
If you changing the above setting, we can see the macro running process for the integration(without closing Dynamics GP and also can see the each of the steps) and this will help us to identify when it will hangs or crashed.
Note: I am assuming you are using the standard adapter.
