Hi all

For the disposal date field under fixed Assets Value model form:

Is this field used for any other functions? Other than just displaying the date of disposal of assets (which is populated when we sell an asset)

    Hi Daniel,

    No other function I am aware of. It is either filled with the date you sell or scrap the fixed asset.

    If you ask this kind of question I assume that you want to use it for any other purpose, is that right?

    Hi Ludwig

    Original scenario was user was referring to a customised Fixed Assets report with field "Scrapped Date".  That field was actually based on FA transactions date, when transaction type = Disposal, instead of the "Disposal Date" in the Value Models form.

    This was just another follow up query from user, on whether any known functionality of this field, as they expected it to do more than just display :)
