NAV 2015 RemoteApp Screen Scaling

Currently, I have users using remote desktop into a RDS server and launching the desktop client. But I would like to eliminate users having to connect to the RDS server directly. So I am testing using the NAV 2015 client as a RemoteApp, which works very well except for one issue. As a RemoteApp, the client displays as if the resolution is much lower than the actual resolution of the local computer. It looks like it is running at 1024x768. So during testing, my users have complained not being able to the entire screen that they are used to.

I've done a lot of searching and testing on this issue without any success. I have tried:

- adjusting the CustomRdpProperty for the RemoteApp Collection to use a higher resolution (1920x1080)

- forcing fullscreen via the RDP file

- forcing fullscreen via the command line for the NAV client

- various other longshot solutions that I can't remember right now

I feel that this is just not possible but I'm putting this post out there as a last resort.

Has anyone dealt with this and is there a way to scale the NAV client as a RemoteApp?

What Windows Server version you are using? Are you facing this issue on all user's computers, regardless user operational system and settings? If so, try completely reinstalling and installing again the RemoteApp for NAV, setting fullscreen resolution.

I'm using Windows Server 2012 R2. I haven't tested every user computer. But I have tested with 4 computers. Three computers are Windows 7 and the other is Windows 10. All exhibit the same behavior.

When you say completely reinstalling, do you mean unpublish and re-publish the RemoteApp?

Unpublishing and re-publishing the RemoteApp worked this time. I had tried that before without success. But figured why not try again since this is a Microsoft product after all. *wink*

    Thanks for your help Alexander!
