I wanted to show Maps in my Model Driven PowerApps and tried following things for Maps to occur-

  1. Open a model driven app and then select Settings > Advanced Settings.
  2. Select Settings > Administration > System Settings.
  3. On the General tab, select Show Bing Maps on forms, and then select OK.

  1. Browse to the Microsoft Power Platform admin center and sign in using administrator credentials.
  2. Go to Environments > [select an environment] > Settings > Product > Features.
  3. Under Embedded content, turn on Bing Maps.
  4. Select Save.

But still the Bing Maps button is disabled on the form? Can somebody help me with this pls?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi CoSonate,

As per the steps you have mentioned in the above as per that it seems like you have enable the Bing Map for the environment.

But did you Configure the map on the Form level ? If not then please follow the below link to configure the same.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/model-driven-apps/configure-bing-maps-legacy#configure-a-map

    Thanks,

    Manoj.

Please mark this as VERIFIED if it helps.

Bing Maps will not be available on custom entities so how can I bring it on Model driven apps.

I tried bringing it from canvas app by integrating it on Model driven app but didn't work.

    Hi all,

even to this thread is a couple of years old already I am facing the same problem. I try to add a Bing map component to my model driven app (I tried it with different apps in different environments and different tennants meanwhile) but the map component is deactivated (greyed out) always. So I was wondering if anybody could help? I activated the Bing Maps feature in the Embedded content environment features. Also tried to activate everything in the Map and address services. It just makes no difference and the map component stays deactivated.

I'm sure I'm missing something obvious and trivial, but I've been struggling with it for so long now ...
