Syncing Contact in CI-J and CI-D Customer profile - Marketing response (email Insight)

The Customer Insight Journey (CI-J) and Customer Insight Data (CI-D) are connected. The Customer Profile in CI-D contains contact information from CI-J, along with additional details from other sources. We can create journeys in CI-J by utilizing the Customer Profile from CI-D. The 'emailaddress1' field of the contact is used when sending emails from the journey.

We can see email insight information at the email level. However, the email activity is associated with the Customer Profile, not with the contact. When we open the contact profile in CI-J, the insight dashboard does not display email actions. Although we can view email insight information at the email level, it is not reflected at the contact level.

Is there a way to reflect email actions at the contact level in CI-J, even though we are using the Customer Profile from CI-D? Additionally, is there a way to link the Customer Profile in CI-D with the contact in CI-J?
