Release products error

Hi All,

Error is showing up when I try to release a product from Products and products master:

"One or more products cannot be released. Validate open product releases in the Open product releases form to identify the reason, and try again"

So when I looked into Open product release-> Info log, I see that: "Cannot create a record in Items (InventTable). Item number: XYZ67828-628, Screen. The record already exists."

You are trying to create it/release it into a legal entity where it is already released. Why are you trying to create the duplicate?

In all products and product master screen , I see that they are released to two legal entities which I wanted. But When I go into the released products, I could not see that product.

Hi Sarath, Can you please check the number sequence of Item number (Inventory and warehouse management ->setup -> parameters) in both the legal entities...? I suspect that the setup you have for item number is continuous, not manual.

I removed the configuration key and tried it. It worked.
