WIP calculation out of balance after Upgrade to NAV 2013

Hi all,

After upgrading a customer from NAV 5 to NAV 2013 we encountered incorrect WIP G/L postings after running the Calculate / Post WIP to G/L batch job in the jobs module of NAV 2013. After some analysis we discovered the WIP entries calculated before the upgrade did not reverse when calculating the WIP entries after the upgrade. With NAV 2013 a new field 'Reverse' has been added to table 1005 (Job WIP G/L Entry). This field is used in codeunit 1000 as a filter when calculating / posting the WIP reversal entries.

We did review upgrade codeunits 104045 and 104048 and we couldn't see that the new field was correctly initialized during the upgrade process.

When the calculate WIP job is run for the next month in NAV 2013 the entries are correctly reversed as all WIP entries had the field 'Reverse' correctly set.

The only way to correct this is to post general journals to clean up the COA.

Cheers

Uwe
