Federation Error trying to log into Customer Source

Hi all,

Hoping you can help.

I have had customer source set up successfully by our Microsoft Partner and i can log into this fine on my work computer.

However, when i try to log into customer source on my home computer, i cannot do it. It gives me a federation error.  I am connecting to my home computer through Team Viewer as I am away currently for work. I need to do it through my home computer as downloading files from there and putting them on my server is faster than where i currently am working away.

I have tried the following;

-Cleared all browser history and closed all browser sessions
-Opened internet explorer in private mode
-Set my local intranet to "Enable protected mode"
-Set my trusted sites to "Enabled protected mode"
- Added https://businesscenter.mbs.microsoft.com into sites in the local intranet page. (Advised to do this by     Microsoft)
-Tried different browsers (Chrome)

None of these seem to fix my issue and I am still getting the federation error.
As i said above, I can log into customer source fine on my work computer, but not on my home computers using a team viewer session to connect to them remotely.
Hopefully this is the right place to post this, if not, please redirect me.
Thanks,
Matt

    Hi Matt,

I believe we also had a short chat om Twitter. Let's continue here. Glad to see you added a lot of details. I do think it might be related to team viewer. Probably it might see multiple networks and thinks there is something wrong. I'm not sure, it is just a thought.

    Hi André,

    We did!

I have tried to get my partner at home to try without team viewer but i think this also wasn't working.

Can you think of any way i could possibly remote on to my computer to get access to it?

    Thanks,

    Matt.

    Hi Matt,

I'm not a technical network specialist. I can't answer your question. Besides this (team viewer/remote access to home computer) will be beyond the scope of this forum.

I am also getting this error, although in my case team viewer is not involved. During repeated attempts, I did get logged in once, but is then said I was linked to multiple companies. However the page offered only a single compnay to select, and that had the annotation "This account is under sync. Please try again later." and would not let me proceeed.

The "Sorry... an error occurred" page has a link to Global Helpdesk which take me to a "Microsoft IT Corporate sign in" page - not very useful.

Is there anyone who could suggest what's wrong? Should ask this as a new question?
