Financial Dimension Form

(0) ShareShare

Posted on by

Under System Administration \ Setup \ Financial Dimensions\ Financial Dimensions \ financial dimension values

If you resize the form from here (maximize it to view all fields) and then change the Dimension Value in the left pane, the form resizes itself automatically (reverts to original smaller size), which makes it difficult to use the form when editing multiple values.

Is there a setting on the form or a property somewhere I can edit so it will keep the maximized size of the form when changing dimension values? I looked online, but couldn't find anything.

Thanks!

PS: I've tried WINAPI::FORCEMAXIMIZEWINDOW(element.hWnd()); in the run menu of the form. It momentarily goes full screen on page load, but still goes back to the original size after.

    Hi,

I haven't noticed this behaviour in my system. Anyway, change the property MaximizeBox and MinimizeBox to No on form DimensionValueDetails, such that it assumes a standard size.

    Hope this helps you.

    Thanks,

Thanks! A combination of setting the 'minimizeBox' property on the design to 'No' and 'WindowResize' property to 'Dynamic' seems to have solved the issue for the most part. It still resizes it when you maximize the form and then change dimension value, but at least it doesn't make it as small as it used to.

(PS: This form is under 'General Ledger' not 'System Administration' as I stated above.)
