Tax report VAT100 (UK)

Unable to generate/preview report VAT100 in PDF format (as i used to).
When I attempt to view report for current or past periods, I select Print Option, but nothing appears on the screen. Not errors are displayed either. 
 
 
Now the issue is occuring in both env: Sandbox and Prod. Recentry version was upgrated to V41 in both.. But during testing in the Sandbox env for v41, report worked well and no issues were detected.  
 
All other VAT reports are working.
 
Any ideas what can it be or what stopped report from generating? Thank you

    Thank you for all your help and feedback. I truly appreciate it. 
     
    Apply or map the ER (Excel report) this is currently the only solution available. The PDF report was working two weeks ago and after reviewing all the features again, no default features linked to Tax or Tax reporting.

    Hi Iryna,
    You can evaluate to apply ER Excel report replacement for VAT 100. If you need to use the SSRS, I recommend to create a support case to Microsoft to get better support.
    PS. It can be related to a new feature that is activated by default after the release.

    Thank you for still following this issue.

    All VAT codes have been set to the "English report layout," as has the tax authority.

    I don’t think deleting my user data will resolve this issue, as it is not limited to my user. Other users working with this report are also unable to run it. Additionally, the issue persists in both the Production and Test environments, so it seems unlikely to be a coincidence

    Any suggest why it might not work?

    Please verify if the VAT codes are set up to replicate the "English report layout."

    If this does not resolve the issue, consider deleting your user data and logging back into the environment to test again.

    The tax authority is configured to use the "English report layout," and there are no configurations set in the General Ledger parameters for Sales tax mapping.
     
    If the report was previously generated through the standard SSRS and has now stopped working, could this be due to an issue with configuration or tax setup? Could there be any reason it would fail without modifications?

    Hi Iryna,
    Yes, The report use to be generated through SSRS if you do not have any configuration on General Ledger Parameters and tax authority has "English report layout"

    Thank you for your input.

    I have tried this, and it works in but only in Excel. However, there is another report linked to the VAT declaration (in Excel). Previously, the VAT 100 report was provided in paper PDF format, not Excel. A comparison that was done to ensure that the figures in the PDF matched those in the Excel report.

    Screenshots were captured during a session after the system was updated to V41

    Reports shows 0 because it run for corrections and not correction were made for that period. 

     
     
    Unless there was another report in PDF format, but it cannot simply disappear.

    Hi,

    For Report VAT 100, you may evaluate to apply the ER one. To use the Electronic Reporting (ER) version for VAT Report 100, follow these steps:

    1. Navigate to the Dataverse repository and import the VAT Declaration Excel (UK) ER configuration.
    2. Go to General Ledger Parameters and bind this report to the "VAT Statement Format Mapping."

    Note: Before running the report, ensure to configure the mapping table in the VAT Declaration Excel (UK) ER configuration via Application-Specific Parameters.

    Thank you for your reply. Please find my answers below:
     
    • I have the System Admin role, yet I am unable to generate the report. There have been no recent changes to security permissions.
    • The issue affects all users working with this report across all LEs.
    • Run the report in different browsers has not resolved the issue.
    • Clearing usage data did not make any difference.
    • The only recent change is the upgrade to v41. However, the report worked correctly in the Sandbox under the same version. 
    There might be a saved template or configuration within the system that is linked to generating this report, but it is either not being picked up correctly or is not properly mapped.

    The report not showing could be caused by many things. Since the report was tested okay in the Sandbox, we know the report is techincally working, so here are a few questions to start:
    • Has your security permissions changed lately? I.e. do you have permission to view this report?
    • Does this happen to you only, or does is happen to all users?
    • Have you tried this in an Incognito/InPrivate window or different browser?
    • Have you tried to clear your usage data? Be aware that this will clear all your saved queries etc.
    • What else has changed in the system?
