Hello,
At https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/dev-itpro/deployment/apply-deployable-package-system#apply-a-package-to-a-non-production-environment-by-using-lcs it talks about how to deploy a package to a non-production environment.
Must one start the environment before using the command Maintain > Apply Updates?
Yes,
Typically, the package is applied through scripts, and you would agree with me that, you can not perform any task on your personal computer, when it is stopped.
Lol... yes.. .but what I was wondering is does the "Maintain > Apply Updates" automatically start the machine if it's not running?
.
As a matter of fact, when the VM is not started, the Apply Updates won't be available on LCS.
Well there you go... figures when you're new you sometimes it's like looking at the dashboard of a large aircraft.. so many things and you don't know when one is wrong! Haha. Thanks again.
I know right, we all passed through this stage.
