user sa takes 3 users in dynamics

Hello,

I have an issue in Dynamics GP, when I enter the application with the sa user, it takes 3 users in dynamics, 
I look for it in the activity table and I can actually see the three users, then I proceed to eliminate the sa users 
and it is normalized and in Sometimes I need to restart the SQL Server instance to be able to work. 
This is not something normal and I need help, the version of Dynamics GP is 2018, SQL Server 2014, 
if someone can guide me in the solution of this case I will know how to thank you very much, greetings and thanks

I would check for customizations. There is nothing in GP that would do this. Check your DYNAMICS.SET file.

Hi Richard,

I already checked the dynamics.set and I don't see anything out of the ordinary.

something else that can validate?

Is it only the 'sa' account doing this? Do you see anything under Process Monitor?

What do you have in your FP Addins folder?

Yes, there are addins in the installation folder. This is also done from the server and any workstation and as a test I did it in a clean installation (only dynamics gp) and the same thing happens

If it only happens with the sa user, and in the process monitor I do not see anything else that could affect the application in that way, and I even made the installation of dynamics gp, on another computer as a server and did everything again, I put the keys and when entering with the user sa takes the 3 users

Hi Gilberto,

you marked this as resolved, but I can't see any solution to the problem yet..

I've never seen a "triple" logon in any setup of GP and I can only think of some weird process that would cause this and take 3 licenses in GP for every 'sa' login.

You said you tested with a 'scratch' GP client, but what version of GP is that ? you said 2018, but what exact build ? Have you tried to upgrade GP on a TEST system and see if it still does the same ?

With no user logged into the GP application I would like to see the content of the Activity table - found in the Dynamics database on the server. Only way to get to that is from SQL Server Management Studio - it is not visible from the GP Application.

Just curious to see what is there with no users logged onto the system.

Can you try downloading a fresh install media off CustomerSource and install using that? Perhaps there is something in your GP Install package that is causing this. This appears to be something affecting Dexterity that causes the extra session when logged in as 'sa'.
