Hello,
I have an issue in Dynamics GP, when I enter the application with the sa user, it takes 3 users in dynamics,
I look for it in the activity table and I can actually see the three users, then I proceed to eliminate the sa users
and it is normalized and in Sometimes I need to restart the SQL Server instance to be able to work.
This is not something normal and I need help, the version of Dynamics GP is 2018, SQL Server 2014,
if someone can guide me in the solution of this case I will know how to thank you very much, greetings and thanks
thanks Gilberto for the DEX.ini file..
there is nothing in there that looks out of the ordinary or suspicious..
Could you take a screenshot of the GP Addins folder ? at the bare minimum without any 3rd-party add-ons for GP, you should only see a couple files in there (the sample below has GPPT & eOne SLB installed)
Hi steve,
Today they reported to me that the incident is occurring with some users, that is, it does not only happen with the user sa
No, i do not have sandbox, i will contact with david, thank for your support.
Do you have a GP sandbox? If you do install a fresh installation of GP and see if this version does the same thing. This is not GP standard behavior. There is something in either your Dexterity code or databases causing this. The other option would be to install GP Power Tools and run some logging tools to trace what is happening. You could talk to David Musgrave about GPPT.
Hi Everybody,
Today they report to me that the incident is happening with users different than sa, only that they do not triple log on, but that the entry is duplicated (it takes two users), what else could we check?
Hi beat,
This is the dex.ini file, sorry for the lateness

As a work around, you might want to use DYNSA until you can figure this out.
Beat it onto the idea. It appears that something is making Dexterity think there are three GP sessions running. Try going to User Preferences and turn off all Reminders. Also remove whatever you have in the Startup group for 'sa'.
Gilberto,
Realizing now that this is a Spanish Setup of GP, which could have a bug, or not.
It definitely is weird that after login the GP license count shows 3 used up, whereas the Activity Table only holds 1 records.
To me this looks like there could be some custom code added to the system, which might not necessarily be in the DYNAMICS.SET file, as it could be a simple .DLL within the GP or Addins folder in GP.
Can you take a screen shot of the Addins folder of GP ?
PS: what GP media did you use for the setup (KB????, release version)
Hi Richard,
I already downloaded a new media, install and the problem continues
