Hello,

is there any way to unlock a locked field by using a workflow?

For me the locked fields are greyed out when I'm in the workflow editor window.

Greetings.

I have the same question (0)

Classic workflows in CRM use the default form for the Update action. So, if the field is locked or disabled in form design view, it will be unavailable to set in the Update action of a workflow. There are a few ways a field can be locked on a form - JavaScript, Business Rule, design view. Based on the behavior you've described, I suspect the field is locked in design view of the form.

    Hi,

You should unlock your field on the form, do your changes in workflow and once you are done with your changes in workflow go back and lock the field on the form.

    Hi @DimaN how are you?

    Thanks for use our community.

@DimaN the attribute probably was set to lock at form level with that the workflow is not possible to add values on it,

An approach already shared by Bipin Kumar cab be used

I also can advise you to check if this attribute needs to be locked at form. If it is a rule, business rules could be used to enable or disable the attribute on form, that way you can remove the lock and set values on workflow. Please check this link Create a business rule in Microsoft Dataverse - Power Apps | Microsoft Docs
