Please suggest how to put control on date selection. can we put some restriction on backdate & future date selection in AX.

One easy solution is simply to put all past and future fiscal periods On hold, leaving only the current fiscal period available for ledger posting.
In addition, running regular inventory closes prevents users from backdating transactions even if your accountants (temporary) open historic periods.
but how to block future date & back date in current month
Hi AnilKr,
You can't but why would you prevent users posting an invoice let's say with a date 2nd September?
Your vendors migh simply have send the invoice document late.
What speaks against posting that invoice today with a transaction / posting date 2nd September?
