Field 'Reference' must be filled warning in AX 2012

Hi,

We have been working on a project where we were using 3 product dimensions (config, size and color) for all the items. Now we have a new product type where we need to use the fourth dimension (style). After activating fourth dimension for the new product when we try to create product variants we get the warning "Field 'reference' must be specified" and the variant cannot be created.

I tried debugging and this errors occurs on 'validateWrite' method of table 'EcoResProductTranslation' when super() is called. So no idea where this warning comes from. Anyone has any idea about this warning?
