    Hi TIA,

I think following solution might work for you:

    1. Enable customization of the Opportunity Close form

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/sales-enterprise/enable-opportunity-close-customization

    2. Add parent optionset field and child optionset field to Opportunity Close entity.

(To simplify demonstration, I didn't add option 3 and child option 4 and 5.)

    Child optionset

    3. Import a PCF solution: Dependent Optionset PCF to system, it can help us to build dependent optionset.

    https://github.com/AndrewButenko/DependentOptionset_PCF

As the tutorial said, we add the custom control to child optionset.

    Test

There isn't child option for Option 1:

When we switch to Option 2, child options will display.

It also works for Close as lost form.

    Regards,

    Clofly

Are you looking to add additional fields to the popup?  or are you referring to Status/Status Reason as Option 1/Child Option?
