Asset transfer in Asset Management Module

I have enabled the new feature to allow asset type transfer in the asset management module.  However, after testing 2 assets and successfully transferring them to a new asset type, it stopped working.  Does anyone else have experience with this new feature?

Thank you
Kirsten

D365 consists of many applications, such as Finance and Operations, Sales or Business Central. Which one do you have in mind?

We are currently using D365 F&O.  This is the feature I enabled and tested.

Moved from Integration, Dataverse, and general topics forum.

What exactly do you mean by "it stopped working"?

    Hi Martin,
I did 2 tests on 2 different assets where I went through the steps to transfer from one asset type to another.  Those 2 asset type transfers worked.  Then I tried another asset with another asset type and it didn't change the asset type on the asset.  Then I tried another asset with another asset type and it didn't change the asset type on the asset.  Then I went back to the original asset type that changed on those original 2 assets and it did not change.  So not sure why it worked and changed the asset type on the first 2 assets but then after that , the functionality did not change the asset type.

    Thank you

The feature started to work again.  However I did get an error message"new asset type does not contain manufacturer 'xyz' which is selected on the asset 'xyz'.   I needed to either delete the manufacturer and re-enter once I have changed the asset type or go into the setup of the manufacturer and models and enter the asset type against the model in the manufacturer listing.  After I did not I could do the transfer.
