Dear Experts,

In our current scenario we have NAV Server in Which has windows 2008 O/s and domains users another server we have is windows 2012 server which has SQL Server 2012 installed worked as database server. We want to shift NAV application and domain servers to our database server so that users will access database server as NAV Application Server. Kindly advise.

What is the reason you want to do it? Basically you can invent any kind of setup, however normally it is recommended to keep SQL database server and application server apart, as well as the client application.

Thanks for your reply sir,

Actually we are planning to shift our servers to data centre to make them 24/7 running. Currently every evening we shutdown the servers and turn on servers in the morning. Kindly advise.

In Data center, you can create different VM as you required.

It is not recommend to run all the servers under one computer. As Sandeep said you can use Virtual Machines to segregate the tiers.
