Hi,
our company uses AX 2012 R2 CU7. Now they want to use WMS II for outbound processes. I never really worked with WMS II and i'm still struggling with the concepts.
We need consolidated picking because we want to pick/ship items from different orders (same Customer) using one shipment. My example consists of two output orders (same item/two sales orders).
Order 1: 2000x Item A
Order 2: 6000x Item A
On-Hand:
Pallet 1: 1500 Item A
Pallet 2: 8000 Item A
When i try to reserve the shipment i get the info message "Not all shipment lines could be reserved." although there is sufficient on-hand.
I debugged the code and came to the conclusion that the Reservation-Engine reserves full pallets only. In my case it reserved pallet 1 but refused to reserve the remaining 500 and 6000 because pallet 2 contains 8000.
Is there a way to tell the system to reserve a subset of a pallet?
