Users Can't do actions to workflow

Hi everyone,

I am facing an error when the workflow item is sent to a user to accept it, this error occurs:

7/21/2026 01:16:53 pm: Stopped (error): X++ Exception: Work item could not be created. Insufficient security permissions for user XXX. Please review the user's security permissions to ensure they are sufficient for this workflow document and then resume the workflow. at SysWorkflowWorkIt

Could you please let me know are you able to submit the workflow or you are having the issue when you trying to approve the same?

Additionally, do we have the same issue for all the users or only to specific users?

I would suggest you to review the security permission as well for the user.

Hi,

Most likely, its related to security. I would give the user SysAdmin for testing purposes or test with your SysAdmin user in a sandbox, just to be sure.
