Creating Data Events for Custom Data Entities

In Microsoft documentation I could find the method to create custom business events. But what about custom data events?
When I create a custom data entity, it automatically appears for create, update and delete data event in Data Events catalog. But it is not triggering anything?

Edit: I have activated it and connected to an endpoint of azure service bus topic. But it is still not working.

What am I missing here? Or if there is any proper microsoft documentation.

When you create a custom data entity, it should indeed appear in the Data Events catalog for create, update, and delete events. However, just having it appear in the catalog isn't enough; you also need to activate the data events.

    Hi,

You need to activate the data event and link it to an endpoint (service bus queue, service bus topic..etc)

    Thanks,

    Hi @Layan Jwei  and VaHiX

I have activated it and connected it to a endpoint. It is not triggering anything.

    Hi fshaikh,

As a start, if you enable a standard data event, does it work?
