Hi the Dynamics community,
It's my first post here.
I'm currently doing some tests with Dual-Write (D365 Field Service and D365 F&O) and I would like that D365 Field Service create my asset based on the Work Order Product but I've this issue when I'm trying to set the status of my work order to "Completed" with a product on which "Convert to customer asset" is set to Yes.
"You cannot create a new Maintenance Asset record when the Functional Location related record has it's 'Functional Location Lifecycle State -> Functional Location Active' set to 'No', or is not populated."
However, the status on my functionnal location is active.. I don't understand what's wrong
Could you please help me ? I found some similar topics on the forums but no one with a solution..
Thank you,
Is it Resolved?
Still in progress..
Microsoft identified where the problem comes from (plugin : ‘AssetManagement.Crm.Plugins.PreventMaintenanceAssetCreationOnStatusPlugin’.) but when you deactivate it, the system no longer takes in consideration your functional location and links your asset directly to your service account.
Did Microsoft resolve this?
I'll do it. Thank you !
Looks right to me! I don’t have an answer off hand. Can you open a ticket?
Hi Dan,
Thank you for your answer.
As you can see, the mappings are running well
I use the USMF sample Data on our sandbox and I think that the functional location state set and active. (Please correct me if I'm wrong)
If you think I'm right, please tell me. By this way, I'll open a ticket with Microsoft. Otherwise, could you please tell me what's wrong?
Hi Nicolas, when you open up Enterprise Asset Management in Finance and Operations, is the functional location lifecycle state set and active? Trying to determine if theres a sync issue on locations. If yes, please open a ticket with Microsoft so we can investigate.
