be Item names are appearing in french language

hi, I have form Item Details, if i select Item id then the item name should be populated.

but the item names are appearing in french language.

previously they were in english only.

are there any properties or something through which language can be changed.

pls help me to solve this...

    Hi Lakshmi,

    verify whether the language of the company has changed or whether you access the data from a company with language French now.

    Currently I don't have access to an AX2009 installation, and I'm not sure about the exact place in that version ... I think it was in organization administration (the menu before system administration). In there, look for at setup > Companies or similar. Sorry :-(

    If you're running AX2012, it's in Organization Administration > Setup > Organization > Legal Entities. There, you'll find a Language Field on the General tab.

    In AX2009 the form is called Company info. You can find it in the menu Basic.

    Are you runnong AX in the French language or another language?
