Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

Can someone tell me how to create and manage absence and holdays in D365? and how to link it with Timesheets if it's possible?

Best regards

    Good morning Ameny,

You are right. It won't create automatic Project/timesheet postings if somebody is for example ill or on vaction but that's what the standard application supports. If you need more advanced features, you will have to built them yourself.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Hi Ameny,

There is a whitepaper available from MS for absence reporting. www.microsoft.com/.../details.aspx

The whitepaper is for AX2012 but still valid for D365.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig
