hai all,

i have a form, in from  Edit is command button when i click on edit button it opens another form and display all record of selected record how can i do that can you please explain .

how can i edit that

    What do you mean by "all record of selected record"?

    Why do you want to do it in this way? The usual approach is that you either edit the record directly in the form, or - in case of list pages - you have a read-only overview and you have to go to a detail form to see details and edit records (but it's not only "Edit", as your button suggests).

    Hi lalitha j,

       Please explain your question clearly.  Why you will use command button for open another form instead of menu item button which is easy way to edit the record in another form. Using menu item button is best way because for that menu item you will have a property called default action. or if you want to edit specific record which selected using menu item button, you have a property called CopyCallerQuery.

    Please check those properties.
