How can we add metadata to files uploaded from Dynamics to SharePoint by remaining in Dynamics itself?

    Hi Anand,

Please have a look at the video link attached. www.youtube.com/watch

You can download this addon from AppSource to manage SharePoint Metadata from Dynamics 365 CE.

Capture document metadata while uploading the document to SharePoint from Dynamics 365 CE. Solution for capturing SharePoint document metadata within Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE

Can you suggest the procedure without using any third party connector?

    Hi Anand,

There is no out-of-Box way, we have to do custom development.

For a not 3rd party option you may have to create your own uploader.

PCF Control with a file attached or drag and drop area, and the ability to specify the meta data, PCF control then loads file into SharePoint setting metadata.

You'll see a couple of examples PCF file uploaders (but without the metadata bit) in the PCF Gallery

    pcf.gallery/categories

Alternatively, create a File field (assuming you are on a current version) and then some other fields to hold metadata and then use Flow etc to move the file to SharePoint (but you would be doubling up file storage, copy in azure blob and copy in SharePoint)
