Hi all,
I have followed the fantastic guide here http://joegilldotcom.blogspot.com/2016/10/message-listener-with-no-code-json.html in getting JSON from a webform parsed and into a contact form on Dynamics 365.
Whilst we have text lines added fine and able to apply. We want to be able to map dates to CRM as we are tracking members Date of Birth.
Can anyone think of a way of achieving this?
Thanks for any help.
Bren
Thanks Leo,
As the article in my first post suggests we need JSON from the web site. The web form will contain user birth date, and I will need to map this into the birthday field when contact gets created.
If you think of a better way to achieve this, I will certainly be willing to try it.
Kind regards,
Bren
Hi partner,
If you want to set contact date field value automatically following certain rules, you could create workflow to do that.
For example I want to update the "Resolve Date" on the case by workflow, then I could choose all other date fields to set its value.
If my understanding is not correct, please kindly share us your requirement and why do you need to get data from json?
Hope it helps.
Best Regards,
Leo
