Hello,

I have data of customers and vendors in AX 2009 and want to transfer these in AX 2012 R3 using the SSIS package.

Can anyone guide me how can I maintain RECID fields in AX 2012 R3 and is it feasible to transfer data using SQL query?

While feasible, this is not recommended. With the high level of normalization, this would be quite risky. A better solution might be to create customer and vendor DIXF templates in your R3 instance and use SSIS to generate an export that matched that template.

That's just one approach though.

Short answer: no, you need to transfer it through AX tools (DIXF, or custom X++ code).
