Work Order - Manual add of Product Line clears the field "Unit"

Posted on by 40

When working with a Work Order, when I go to manually add Products (not through the Opportunity conversion or through an Incident), as I enter the Product Item, the Unit field will populate and then clear. Any value I enter into the Unit field will clear and I can not save the Product Item. This prevents me from adding ad-hoc products to the Work Order.

Details:

  • I have a Price List on the Work Order
  • The Product is associated with the Price List and is a Field Service product
  • Units and Unit Groups and Price Lists have been properly Configured
  • This is on the Work Order Product entity - the form is out of the box - Work Order Product - Information (no modifications, business rules or workflows have been applied)

We have installed solutions to support CDS Integration (Field Service Integration and Prospect to Cash), and this may have some impact, but as the documentation on what's included in these solutions is minimal, I have no clue what kind of impact.

We are using FSA Version 8.8 with solution patches installed by Microsoft all the way up to Feb 28th for Field Service and URS.

Thanks so much for your help!
