R3: Total Load Exceeds Load Template Weight Capacity, how to override

Hi All

In the Load Planning Workbench, whenever we create a new Load and select a Load Template that has a capacity lower than the total weight/volume, it will notify us that there is an excess. It will still create the load, however, when we try releasing, the following release error appears: "Total Load N exceeds TipWeight N". There are two checkboxes and one field beside the message labelled Hard Stop, Override, Overridden by, respectively. 

Does this mean that we can force the system to allow us to Release to Warehouse even though the load weight is in excess? If so, I'd like to know how and which form we can perform this function.

    Yes, you should be able to override, but we seems to have an error, not allowing you to click the override flag, please report through our support channel.

    Which form do you perform the override function?

    Is this a bug or am I just missing some setup?

    Hi Jason,

    It's a bug. The form with the two checkboxes should be editable, but for some reason it's not.

    You should have been able to check the override box and thereby enable release of the load, but I think there is a security bug.
