Hello,
I have to create a new currency in D365 General ledger/Currencies. Unfortunately, the currency is not available in the ISOCurrencyCode table.
Error massage: The value "CNH" in field "Currency code" is not found in the related table "ISO currency codes". I retrieved the table ISOCurrencyCode but I can not create a new currency.
Does anyone have any idea how O can add the new currency to the table?
Thank you
Liliana
Hi Liliana,
Do you refer to CNY, the currency used in China?
Is this just a typing error?
Best regards,
Ludwig
As Ludwig mentioned, the official ISO code for Chinese Yuan is CNY, so please use that.
en.wikipedia.org/.../ISO_4217
CNH is a local/commercial currency for "Chinese Yuan Offshore". (www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-CNY-and-CNH-currencies)
@Liana, please create a support ticket for Microsoft Support or have a look at LCS issue search if there is a known issue for not allowing adding new currencies.
