I have tried upgrading our onpremise 9.1 from Update 1.26 to Update 1.27 but it upgrading DB throws error below. Is there something wrong with this cumulative update?

Failed to install DataServicesExtensionsException: Microsoft.Crm.PackageDeployment.PackageDeployerException: Package DataServicesExtensions failed to install on attempt 0.

Cannot update RequiredLevel of attribute IsCommitted from SystemRequired

The issue has been resolved on next patch that is rolling out ideally mid May.

For whoever is affected right now and needs a mitigation, please open a service request, since the mitigation involves a SQL update command and these need to be provided within Microsoft support.

We apologize any inconvenient caused by this issue.

Is there already an update, when the security patch will be available again? We planned to deploy 9.1.27 soon as well.

Even though you guys at Microsoft already are aware of whats causing this issue , but I might as well share the information when I was looking into this.
As I mentioned in my previous reply the culprit seems to be "FileStoreExtension_managed.cab" solution as could be identified from the crmdmsnapin.log

Yeah, the below Org is on Swedish language pack.

Manually trying to apply the solution fails as expected but at least we see more clearly on what in the solution package it fails on.

From the log of the import.
    Entity: FileAttachment
    Status: Failed
    Errorcode: 0x8004D293
ErrorText: Cannot update RequiredLevel of attribute IsCommitted from SystemRequired

There is an constraint in SQL for "IsCommitted" on this table.
And lastly, creating a brand new Organization on U1.27 works, it's just upgrading from previous versions that fails.

    Best regards.

We planned to install the April 1.27 update on Friday, April 19th but when we went to install, the 9.1.27 update was gone  (removed?). Instead, we installed 9.1.26 update (March release).
Per PhillipK's post about the standard editor control being broken, I will not advance version 9.1.26.
I'm eager for news from Microsoft about a revised 1.27 update as our environments will be out of sync and this delays development work.

Yes, seems like it's related to the "Filestorage" solution that was a part of the upgrade package.
Tried manually importing it but it fails with constraints error for "IsCommited".
I'm not at the PC where I saved the logs but I guess you guys at Microsoft already are aware of the above.

As a side-note Pedro, one thing you guys should know.
Already on the previous U1.26 update the standard editor control for e.g. description field for Email(entity) broke.
This basically made it impossible to create a new email/reply as you were unable to write in the "body" field of the email record.
You could workaround this by manually enabling the RTE editor control on the "Description" field on the form but yeah, there was no mentioning of this in the U1.26 patch and to be honest, the RTE editor does kinda look kinda out of place when enabled, would need some CSS to look proper in the form.
There is already a post on this issue in this forum on this issue and it wasn't resolved in U1.27.

    Best regards. /Philip

    Hello ,

We are working on this issue as we speak.
This is happening with any org upgrade attempts, even a vanilla one.
I'll provide updates here as soon as there is valuable information.
