Posted on by 345

Hi, all experts in AX.

I have been facing urgent problem, I saved pdf file from ax report, but the pdf file doesn't have some contents.

The original report from AX looks as below.

(It shows signature on top-left side and korean language in delivery address and vendor / vendor account)

However, after I print pdf file, it looks as below.

As you can see the report doesn't have signature and some contents in korean language.

How to save pdf file with all contents in report, please give me any advice.

Thanks.

    Thanks all,

I found the reason and solution.

There is a function to save report as pdf file with pdf embedded font option.

With the option, pdf file shows Korean language as well.

Plus, the signature hid behind the box when it was generated as pdf file, so I removed the box and just make the design with horizontal and vertical lines.

I really appreciate your all kind help.

    Thanks,

    Daniel.

    Hello Daniel Lee,

The report has some customizations included.

There must be a section available in your system - usually in one of the sales or admin modules - where you can setup and configure those customized elements.

Can you try to find the respective setup and verify if it is complete.

If you cannot find this then please talk to the report developer who designed the report.

He/she should be able to help quickly.

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Thanks Wang,

    I'll check it.

Could you please kindly reply why the component is needed to generate pdf file?

It is not ssrs report, it is just ax report.

    Thanks.

    Hi Daniel,

Have you installed "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Transsact-SQL Language Service"  in the SQL server?
