Smartlist tables and how to adjust using SQL.

Posted on by 75,730

I have a client who has recently been acquired. Prior to the acquisition their fiscal year was July-June. After the requisition their fiscal year was changed to January-December. The issue I have is the hundreds of Smartlists that were created where each column was the month of the year. So it used to be the first month was July and the second was August and so on and so on. Now the columns headings need to have January as the first month and then February and so on. Is there any way I can manipulate these heading using SQL as opposed to going Smart;list by Smarlist and adjusting the headings? What are the tables involved?

Thanks Derek, it was a pain having to change so many Smartlists. I will play around with these tables in TEST in my spare time.

The ASIEXP86 table is the 'SmartList Favorites Columns Master', you could potentially look in that table using the ASI_Favorite_Name value for reference as to which report it is.

ASITAB20 table is the 'ASI_Field_Definition' table and looks like that holds SmartList column/field names as well.

I haven't tried changing these myself, to see if the changes are reflected in the SmartList reports themselves, as well, it wouldn't be a supported process (as you already knew), but you could look at these two tables.

    Thanks
