Workflow or flow and how to search for member of a team that is assigned to a record

Hello,

How can I go about the below:

- If I am the owner of the record or if I am part of the owning team that is assigned to the record, then I need to be allowed to create/edit/modify my own note

- Send and email alert to the owner of the case (including a Team if Team owned) when a note is added to a case you own

I have tried doing this via a workflow, but it doesn't appear I can check to see if the user is part of the owning team or not. So then I tried doing a flow, but got lost on the condition part.

Any help (with screen shots), would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Do you mean whether a user is a member of a TEAM?
