Email Signature Images when tracking email in CRM

Our users have outlook signatures with images (logos) that are in html format and the images are imbedded into the signature. However, when they track emails using the crm outlook client plugin, the images are put into crm as attachments. is there a way to prevent this?

Go to Settings>Administration>System Settings. Stay on the General Tab and scroll down to "Set blocked file extensions for attachments. You can add .html to the list. That should block the signature from being tracked in CRM.
