Closed Asset leasing - How to clear balance for ROU and ROU accumulation

Hi community,

Recently we have a closed asset leasing. All liability and payment are $0 clean. But how can we clean the ROU asset account and ROU accumulated account?

If you have any hints on this, please kindly let me know.

Hi Ding,

I have read the document. However, in the case that our business decides to have credit side of Depreciation posted to accumulated account, our original ROU of asset will stay untouched. Hence, when the lease is terminated, the value in ROU account remains the same, not reverted.

How can we have a final posting to clear ROU in this case?

Our user is manually create a journal to clean out the balance after the lease is terminated.
