I keep getting a message "You can't complete this process while transactions are being edited."

This item was just created two days ago, I have had everyone exit this system just in case that was an issue. This item has not been used on any PO, it does not exist in a Kit. Any ideas what this could be?

    Cause

You may have a user locked in a table even though all users are logged out.

    Resolution

    1. Have all users exit Microsoft Dynamics GP and execute the following query in the SQL Query Tool against the DYNAMICS database (after you make a backup):

    delete SY00800

    2. Execute the following queries against the Tempdb database:

    delete DEX_LOCK

    delete DEX_SESSION

    Hello!

Is this still an issue or has the information that Harry has posted helped in resolving the issue?

Unfortunately, I do not have access to run a SQL query. Is there another approach that can be taken?

    Hi awildrick!

Thank you for the update in regards to this issue. Unfortunately as you have already had everyone exit out of Dynamics GP and the issue still occurred it seems as Harry had noted that there could be a stuck user record in some of the Activity tables. Do you have anyone that would be able to run the SQL statements that Harry had posted?

    Please keep us posted!
