Permissions error

Out of the blue one of my users started getting the attahched error when he tries to perform certain functions within the case entity such as attach items in the Notes entity. I double checked his permissions (via Service > Settings >  Security > Users > select user > Manage Roles) and confirmed his permissions aremirroring any other user who CAN perform the same functions within the case entity. See attached screenshot and error code details.

The error is pretty straight forward as far a read access to azureblobstoragesetting.   You can clear cache and try another browser but if you can show us the core roles for activities, that might help troubleshooting a bit.

This user tried 3 different browsers with the same result. Sorry I forgot to mention that. I'll attach this users roles (as mentioned are mirroring any other user who does not have this issue).

    Hi jiznak2000,

The user is missing the prvReadmsdyn_azureblobstoragesetting privilege. You need to assign the user this missing privilege to prevent the error from occurring.

Thanks, how do I accomplish that?

    Hi jiznak2000,

You will need to assign the user a Security Role with read level access on msdyn_azureblobstoragesetting.

    Hi,

Check if you have any entity called Azure Blob Storage Setting under the custom entities tab on the user security role. If yes, give the read privilege. Refer below screenshot-

    Hope this helps.
