Credit Limit (lcy)

Dear community,

Is it possible in Standard Nav 2009 to see per customer their Credit Limit history? Now our employees use the screen 'Notes'. If not possible in Standard Nav 2009, is there an addon or granule available?

Regards,

Sijmen

    Hi Sijmen,

If you turn on the Change Log functionality, then you are able to see the "change history" per field. Either all fields or just the Credit Limit field.

But you would also have to create a view to display this on the Customer. In the standard it's only displayed if you lookup the Change Log Entry table and filter for that specific customer.

    Hello Erik,

Thank you for the quick reply.

So customisation is a must if you want to let the users view the credit limits on the customer page. Thanks again.

    Regards,

    Sijmen

Yes, you need to make a way to lookup the Change Log information from the customer. I would never ask a normal end-user to use the standard Change Log Entry table directly.

But it's also a question of why you need this. I had customers who also wanted to see who changed the Credit Limit (and other financial data). They didn't really have a requirement that everyone should be able to see it. They were happy as long as the information was recorded and their superusers could look it up, upon request. So if this is the same for your, then you don't need any customizations.
