Average Currency Factor issue Decimals issue in BC 24

in BC 24 - GB version,
1. Microsoft has changed the logic of how consolidation of Business Unit works. Can someone explain why adding more than two decimals is no longer possible? and what's the solution/ workaround for this?

2. Does anyone know what the 'Implementation' field is used for in the No. Series page? what's the difference between using Normal / Sequence?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

If it's changed by Microsoft, you should create a support ticket and get updates from Microsoft.

from your second screenshot Microsoft have implemented Interface in that area. To Get Details Refer -

    1. Codeunit 306 & 307 which define implementation.

These codeunits are part of Business Foundation app in latest business central.

    In summary -
Normal - Specifies the standard No. Series implementation, which updates the database on every call and uses the table to keep state.

Sequence - Specifies the sequence No. Series implementation that does not update the database on every call and uses database sequences to keep state.

    Regards,

could you advise how you navigate to the first screen? I don't see it from assisted setup. to setup currency you could go to currencies, then create a page for the new currency. Below is the default decimal places in BC

    Hi Jun,
this exists on BC 24 GB version (standard), I tried to amend the decimals on the currency card but that's not helping.

    thanks Saurav for your answer
