    Hi Annie,

Pl. go through below link.  You should be able to setup & use the default description functionality, if available to that particular country.

    technet.microsoft.com/.../jj677363.aspx

It looked to me like the original post was about setting up a new macro replacement, i.e. %7, since the standards ones are %1 thru %6.  That's easy to do, but specific to the type of transaction, since they're all handled by different classes.

Actually adding records to Default descriptions is pretty easy otherwise.

    Hi,

    You can refer following link.

    technet.microsoft.com/.../jj663964.aspx

I can see that, in Brazil localisation, %7 (Account Name) is already available.

    Hi Annie,

To be able to use %7 you need a customization.

The class TransactionTxt has the logic to replace values. The transaction date, document and voucher are %1..%3 and always predefined. %4...%6 are used per module different and handled by methods setkey1(), setkey2() and setkey3(). The method txt() actually converts the values.

The posting class like TrvPostExpenseHeader will use the TransactionTxt class and fill variables (e.g. method getTransactionText()).

You can create a new setKey4() method and adjust the txt() method on the TransactionTxt class. Be careful. Like Vishal mentioned the Brazil localization is using also a %7. If you add your "key4" at the end your key will be %8, not %7.
