Hi Folks

Getting this error while obtaining the access code for the UK HMRC in D365 finance.

Error : Web service returned error code 404 ({"code": "MATCHING_RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND", "message": "A resource with the name in the request can not be found in the API"}).
Exception at level 0 Message: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. Source: System Stack trace: at System.Net.HttpWebRequest.GetResponse() at Dynamics.AX.Application.EMCommonWebAPI.`getResponse(EMWebRequest _request)

Have followed security enhancements https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/finance/localizations/united-kingdom/emea-gbr-mtd-vat-security-enhancements

Anyone faced the erro while obtaining the access code. Any suggestions / recommendations would be helpful.

Hi Uday,

Once you install the security enhancements, you no longer need to get an authorisation code from the web application. This process is automatically initiated when you start the process from Electronic messages and run Create VAT obligation request.
