Hi guys,

I need to know if it's possible to split a datasource (or duplicate it as number of grids) in different grids ?

My requirement is that i need to split data contained in one datasource based on it type of information in as many grids as type.

If its possible how to do that ?

For now, i tried by duplicate the datasource and in it init method made a query based on the type i want for the first grid and so on, but it doesnt work.

Regards.
I have the same question (0)

You can't have a single report with two different sets of data at once.

You'll really need an extra data source for the same table. Each data source will have a different query, and therefore will fetch different records, and you'll associated each with the right data source.

I can't comment on your current problem until you tell us more about it than that it doesn't work.

    Hi Awaxx,

You can refer to the standard "ProjValSetupProjEmpl" form - This form will have 2 ProjTable datasource - In the init method they will be filtering the records.
You can look at how they have coded. Navigation of the form will be Human resources >> Employees >. Project (Action pane tab) >> Assign Projects >> Under project tab you will be able to see two grids with same DataSource, but each grid will show different set of records.

    Thanks,
    Girish S.
