Integration Manager Referencing a Server Not in the Test Environment

Hello:

In testing the upgrade of Integration Manager for GP 2013 R2 in our test environment, an integration based on an Advanced ODBC data source is giving me the following error:

11/11/2015 6:23:08 PM Source: Microsoft.Dynamics.GP.IntegrationManager.IMProvider, Status Code: 18307385     ERROR: Error Executing Script 'Before Integration' Line 12: - Could not find server 'PRD-DHS-SQL' in sys.servers. Verify that the correct server name was specified. If necessary, execute the stored procedure sp_addlinkedserver to add the server to s

I have looked all throughout Integration Manager, including within the "Before Integration" script referenced in the above error message.  I am not finding any reference to this "PRD-DSH-SQL" server.

Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can look?  Perhaps, there's a file or object that I have overlooked.

Thanks!

John

So you're source list is an ODBC connection?

I guess the first thing to ask is PRD-DHS-SQL supposed to be referenced for something??

You mentioned a test environment, is there something hard-coded in a trigger on a table that you're trying to import into that references this server??

Did you backup and restore everything from PROD to TEST, there might be something lingering in your instance.

    Hi John,

You mention an "Advanced ODBC Data Source"... have you checked that ODBC source file ? usually they are stored in a folder as a .dsn file. The server name is almost certainly defined in that file.

    Hi All:

We figured this out, a few moments ago.  The Before Integration script references a stored procedure in one of the databases that's in production and test.

When we review this stored procedure, it references that server that is outside of our test environment.

I did not think to look for this stored procedure in the instance of SQL used in the Before Integration script.  The ODBC data source uses a different instance from the Before Integration Script.  Hence, my confusion.

Thanks, for getting back to me so quickly!  I appreciate that!

    John
