Hi
I have a Hololens2 with TrimbleXR which comes with a mobilus Bluetooth audio headset. The Bluetooth is connected and I am able to get the audio for the system and other apps, however, when using Microsoft Dyanmics Remote Support to initiate calls, the call audio doesn't come through the Bluetooth headset at all. There are limited settings options on the Remote Support app on Hololens. Kindly advise.
Hi David,
On our side the problem is solved with this latest update of Remote Assist.
Thank you and your team for your reactivity !
Hi SadaH, I wanted to follow up and see if you are still having issues. As Larry noted, we issued an update to version 313.2212.21002.0 that addressed Bluetooth issues. If you are still experiencing the issue despite this update, please let me know so we can expedite an investigation.
I just upgraded today to Dynamics Remote Assist version 313.2212.21002.0 and it is working as expected. I had to restart my XR10 device because Dynamics Remote Assist status was reporting to the downloader that the app was open (It was not open).
Hello. I am facing the same audio problem.
Could you tell me how to download an old version of the app?
Hi,
We have this problem too, and like the previous bug we solved it by reinstalling an old version of Remote Assist (v302.2102.2003.0).
Kind regards,
We are having the same issue with the Trimble version of the HoloLens 2 with the Mobilus supplied audio device. Audion from apps including the Remote Assist app itself work. Only no audio is heard from remote users in a Remote Assist session. We have other HoloLens 2 devices not Trimble that work as expected. Our Remote Assist software is 3.11.2210.26003.0
Hi there, Unless I am missing something, when on call with trimbleXR helmet there is no choice for speaker to headphones.
Along the bottom you have Chat, participants, video, mute, record and end call. (I noticed on some online images there is a button for camera as well but I don't have that either for some reason.)
We have quite a few of these we use and the ones that have recently updated to version 3.11 are the ones we are having issues with. The helmets still running 3.10 are working fine. Maybe coincidence but I suggest you look into that. Thanks
Hi SadaH,
When attempt a Remote Assist call, the phone should default speaker at that point.
Then tap the speaker icon next to the microphone icon and it should switch over to your headphones.
