Hotkeys for Textbox control

Create a form which can be controlled by Keyboard shortcuts
Requirement : A form with 3 textbox controls .
When user press ALT+N , cursor should move to Text1
When user press ALT+M , cursor should move to Text2
When user press ALT+O , cursor should move to Text3

This requirement is logically wrong, because these shortcuts are aleready used in D365FO for other purposes.

For example, Alt+N creates a new record.

Hi Sushma,

Like Martin mentioned, there are already shortcuts in use. I wonder about the business process related to this requirement. I'm struggling to find an example where someone might need this.

Thanks Martin,

This is not the actual requirement. The requirement is to create a hotkey for a textbox control (The shortcut key can be anything which is not in use ) Is it possible to create a new textbox control and Implement it. Because for standard form controls we can’t achieve it, I have tried. Please help me with this.

What is the business requirement that you've dediced to implement by this technical solution?

Your technical requirement may be impossible or difficult to implement, while there may be a possible or easier way to give your business users what they need.

Even just the identification of "what's not in use" is not trivial, because you would have to take into account not only shortcuts used by F&O, but also by all supported browsers.
