Drop Shipment and special orders

Hi Experts,

I am using Nav 2013, I want to know that how to use drop shipment and special order functionality in Navision?

Please share any document if anybody have.

    Hi Naveen,

    If you post the shipment then Nav will automatically post purchase receipt for that order.

    That is why you are facing the error. In case of special orders you have to post the both manually.

    Hello Paras,

    In drop shipment when I am trying to post sales order shipment after posting the Purchase receipt then system showing error 'There is Nothing to post' and also same error at the time of posting the purchase receipt after the sales shipment. Means its only allowing me to only receive or only shipment.

    I am not able to understand what was wrong.

    But for special order its working fine.

    Please suggest what to do ?
